Manila, Like The Folder: Genesis
Our studio, Manila, Like The Folder, began as a conversation about NFTs and physical art. The conversation circulated around the parallels of the abstract components of both, while the physical aspects also had parallels but connecting these remained elusive. Thus, we began to work on ways to bring the two together.
From that conversation, ideas developed like developing physical art using money while creating digital art along side physical art, while exploring ancillary technologies that could bind the digital and physical art forms. We continue to explore ideas around how to blend and bridge digital and physical art by bringing together artists and engineers. Finding common ground on ideas and innovation brings our studio to life like no other studio!
